Sabrina Nansteel-Bunt joined AHP on 3/4/2024 as the senior program director for the California Behavioral Health Bridge Housing (BHBH) Program.

Sabrina has 25 years of experience in the behavioral health field with 10 years of direct care experience working with children and adults in a leadership capacity and 15 years’ experience working in a Medicaid Managed Care Organization.

She brings a wealth of experience from an operational, strategic, and program perspective, and previously served as the Senior Director of Operations, Senior Advisor to the CEO, Compliance Officer, as well as many other leadership roles. Her responsibilities included creating Strategic Plans, launching a Project Management Office (PMO), overseeing administrative contracts, leading large and complex projects, and chairing multiple committees and meetings such as an enterprise-wide Operations Committee, Performance Improvement Committee, All Staff Meetings, and Board of Directors Meetings. She successfully led the implementation of large-scale HealthChoices initiatives to address Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) and initiated a program working with community-based organizations and acute inpatient psychiatric facilities to identify individuals at risk of homelessness to ensure they were linked with proper resources to secure housing or overcome obstacles to prevent homelessness.

Most recently, she was the vice president of project execution in the Cybersecurity Division at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. In this role, she led high profile and complex projects, programs, and initiatives; uplifted governance processes and risk management approaches; developed templates, playbooks, and manuals to ensure consistency in program delivery; participated in quarterly business reviews; and led program efforts on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) for the Cybersecurity Division.

She earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology and has certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt, and an AWS Public Cloud Practitioner.
Sabrina also plays an active role in the breast cancer community. She is the Vice President of Hope Afloat USA, a breast cancer survivor dragon boat team based out of Philadelphia. She is an avid dragon boat paddler and steerer for the dragon boat community in Philadelphia.
